Community Health

Community health at the Y supports individuals and families with programs that promote wellness prevention and healthy living. It provides access to fitness resources education and support services that help people of all ages build healthier habits and stronger communities

M.A.S.H.

M.A.S.H. – Mainstream Adults Sharing Hope program is for people age 18 and above who have with physical and cognitive disabilities. Participants meet for activities that encourage socializing, developing healthy habits and uplifting the spirit through community involvement, inside and outside the Y.

Child Abuse Pevention

 

Child abuse prevention means keeping children safe by building supportive families and communities. It focuses on education early intervention and access to resources that reduce risk. Strong support systems like schools healthcare and social services help identify problems early. Everyone can help by promoting awareness encouraging communication and protecting children.

Togetherhood

Togetherhood provides Y members with fun, convenient and rewarding ways to give back and support their communities. It is the YMCA's member-led service program for Social Responsibility. This program invites Y members to lead and participate in volunteer service projects that benefit the community where they live.

Foster Care

Foster care provides safe temporary homes for children who cannot live with their families. It offers stability support and care while helping children heal and grow. Foster families play an important role in meeting daily needs and providing guidance. The goal is to ensure safety and work toward a permanent caring home whenever possible.
